iWC Weddings
Weddings are open to members, regular attendars, and their families.

Getting Started

  1. Contact the church office to set a wedding date and
receive paper work. (You can also download the
    paperwork HERE)
  2. Your date will be officially reserved when we receive
    the application and $50 deposit.
  3. You will be assigned a wedding
    coordinator who will contact
you to go over any questions
    you may have.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • Is there a discount for members? Weddings are only performed at iWC for members and regular attenders, so there is no extra discount added.
  • Does the wedding fee include a rehearsal? Yes! You may reserve your rehearsal date/time as soon as you have a plan.
  • Who will marry us? On the application form, you will be asked who you would like to perform the ceremony. Depending on availability, the person may or not be able to. We will work with you on this.

General Information

Setting the Date
You will want to plan as early as possible, so that there will be no conflicts between your wedding and any other iWC events. To set your date, call the church office or refer to your wedding coordinator, whom will be assigned to you upon completion of the application. Your tentative date will be held for two weeks, at which time you will need to turn in the application with your initial deposit.

Choosing an Officiant
We have a varitey of people that are well qualified to officiate your wedding. If you do not already know who you would like to perform your wedding, your coordinator can provide you with a list of approved officiants in the church.

Pre-Marital Counseling
Please contact Rev. Ben Manley to arrange the manditory pre-marital counseling. Ben is a Licensed Pastoral Couneslor and has seperate fees from iWorshipCenter. Counseling generally lasts about 6 -8 sessions/weeks.

Order of Service/Approval
A week or two before the wedding, you will meet with the officiating pastor to go over all details of the ceremony. It is a good idea to review things like wording for vows, exchanging of rings, etc. as well as the service order at this time. The pastor is the one who approves music, readings, and any other things you wish to include in your service.

Building Information
The sanctuary seats 525 people. You will also have use of the foyer, bathrooms, and one room each for the men and women of the bridal party to prepare in.

Music
You are required to furnish your own music. iWorshipCenter is open to having musicians and soloists come in, or using CDs is also perfectly acceptable. We do offer a couple of sample CDs if you would like to borrow them.

Decorations
You are free to decorate as much or as little as you like! Of course, we expect that you will respect the building and maintain proper usage at all times. Please remember our rule for candles is that they must be enclosed- no unprotected wax at any time. Also, you are reminded that the instruments on the platform are NOT to be moved nor wires unplugged. Your coordinator may help you with any setup issues. You are welcome to decorate for the wedding during business hours the day before the wedding, or you may set up a specific time outside business hours with your coordinator. At the time of the rehearsal, you may also choose colors for lighting. You/the wedding party is responsible for all setup and tear down of decorations. The building must be emptied of all personal belongings by 9 PM on the wedding date. If you would like to see photos of how other iWC weddings have been decorated, please ask your coordinator and we would be happy to provide you with some ideas. The church is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items. Any damages sustained to the church facility will be billed to the appropriate persons.

Rehearsal
Rehearsals are generally held on the Friday evening before the wedding, but can be any time/date available that you prefer. Please let your wedding coordinator know what day and time you would like as soon as possible to assure that it can be reserved for you. The officiating pastor will lead the rehearsal, which usually lasts about an hour.

Photography & Video
If you choose to have your event photographed and /or video taped, please see your coordinator for guidelines.
